We transcend the traditional mixture of expert models by introducing a dynamic, agent-driven pipeline that intelligently decides the best tool for each task. The timing couldn't be better with OpenAI's o1 release, and we are excited to include o1-mini and o1-preview among the top LLMs utilized by our system.
Introducing Agents
The addition of Agents to your Space is a game-changer. These agents dynamically determine when to use each tool, whether it's conducting a web search, retrieving files, or generating images. This intelligent orchestration ensures that users have access to the best possible answers, tailored precisely to their queries.
Tools at Your Disposal
We are launching with three primary tools that exemplify the capabilities of our new system:
- Web Search: This tool functions as a perplexity-like Google search. Users can directly invoke it or let the agent decide the optimal time to search the web, even augmenting or rewriting the search query for the best results.
- File Search: Our foundational RAG implementation, utilizing a combination of dense and sparse embeddings, this tool retrieves relevant documents from a vector store. It employs relative score fusion to combine results from both encoders and uses a cross-encoder to rerank the results, ensuring the most pertinent information is surfaced.
- Image Generation: Currently powered by DALL-E, our image generation tool will soon be part of a multi-modal version that not only generates images but also interprets them, adding a new dimension to our platform's capabilities.
Our platform now offers the capability to dynamically select the optimal LLMs and tools to ensure the highest quality responses. We are excited to announce plans for expanding our ecosystem to enable users to contribute their own tools for our agents. Additionally, all of this functionality is available for our enterprise customers via API through our /chat/completions endpoint, allowing you to leverage these advanced features without the need to build and host complicated pipelines.
